As the race for party primaries and general elections intensifies, citizens in Niger State came together on Saturday to hold unique prayer gatherings supporting Senator Mohammed Sani Musa, widely recognized as Sani Musa 313, Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago, and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, showcasing their religious belief and political unity.
The prominent prayer initiative was organized by the United Niger Christian Forum in Niger State, led by its President, Rev. Joshua Adams.
Members of various Christian groups gathered in Minna to request heavenly assistance, safeguarding, and triumph for the three leaders they viewed as divinely appointed catalysts for change.
Pastor Joshua Adams, during his speech to the crowd, shared an enthusiastic address covering important aspects of leadership, administration, and country progress.
He started by emphasizing the spiritual basis necessary for successful leadership in Nigeria.
“Today, we have gathered not only as Christians but as worried citizens who recognize that genuine advancement cannot take place without God’s guidance on our leaders,” said Rev. Adams.
We are here to entrust Senator Sani Musa 313, Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago, and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to the powerful grasp of the Almighty, seeking wisdom, power, and success in all their pursuits.
The religious leader commended Senator Sani Musa 313 for his exceptional service to the Niger East Senatorial District. He highlighted the senator’s ongoing efforts in promoting youth development, education, and infrastructure growth in the region.
Senator Sani Musa 313 has been a relentless advocate for our community,” Rev. Adams added. “Through his different initiatives in training, academic grants, and rural development, he has impacted thousands of lives.
We ask that God grants him more success and brings him back with a decisive win to keep doing his good deeds.
Shifting his attention to Governor Bago, Rev. Adams praised the governor’s agricultural transformation and urban development initiatives that are starting to reshape the landscape of Niger State.
“Under the guidance of Governor Bago, Niger State is experiencing a fresh beginning in the fields of agriculture and food security,” he said.
The emphasis of his administration on irrigation agriculture, mechanization, and assistance to farmers has placed the state in a position to become a potential food hub for the country. We are seeking divine empowerment so that he may realize his dream of a thriving and secure Niger State.
Reverend Adams also highlighted the governor’s dedication to improving infrastructure, education, and healthcare services within the three senatorial districts.
“The extensive road developments, school improvements, and hospital enhancements during this administration serve as evidence that God is utilizing Governor Bago for a specific goal,” Adams stated.
We oppose all evil schemes aimed at his administration and announce heavenly support and victory in the upcoming elections.
Regarding President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Forum President discussed in detail the Renewed Hope Agenda and the courageous reforms being carried out despite the country’s difficulties.
“President Tinubu has demonstrated exceptional bravery in making tough but essential choices to reshape Nigeria’s economy,” said Rev. Adams.
The emphasis of his administration on security, economic variety, and infrastructure growth throughout all areas offers us optimism for a more improved Nigeria. We are praying for continued insight and power for him to fulfill his commitments.
We are convinced that leadership is a sacred responsibility. As we offer prayers for these three leaders, we also ask for calm and peaceful primary elections within every political party.
May there be no violence, no fraud, and no interference. Let the will of God and the people take precedence.
The respected clergyman emphasized the Forum’s neutral position while expressing their backing for leadership focused on results.
“Our request is not focused on political alignment but on effective leadership and helping people,” Rev. Adams clarified.
Where leaders take action, the people should back them through prayers and voting. Senator Sani Musa 313, Governor Bago, and President Tinubu have demonstrated ability, and we are behind them.
He ended his speech by urging continuous prayers after the formal prayer time.
We will not stop praying for these leaders until complete victory is achieved,” Rev. Adams promised. “Niger State and Nigeria will rise again thanks to the leadership of these individuals. The best is still ahead for our beloved state and nation.
Reverend Joshua Adams concluded the intense prayer meeting by citing a passage from the Bible: “Therefore, I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all men—for kings and all who are in high positions—that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in godliness and righteousness” (1 Timothy 2:1-2).
This religious mandate, he stated, continues to serve as the basis for the Forum’s ongoing prayers for the prosperity, safety, and re-election of Senator 313, Governor Bago, and President Tinubu.
The United Niger Christian Forum committed to holding comparable prayer initiatives in various local government areas within the state over the next few weeks to maintain spiritual protection for the leaders and the democratic system.
