The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has rescheduled the evaluation process for its presidential and gubernatorial candidates to Monday, 18 May.
The party conveyed this information through a statement released by its representative, Bolaji Abdullahi, on Saturday.
It also revealed a shift in location for the screening of certain federal lawmakers’ candidates impacted by instability in various regions of the country.
The statement mentioned that all impacted candidates would be informed with revised timetables and additional required information.
The gathering had planned the evaluation of candidates for May 14 and 15.
It also mentioned that appeals resulting from the screening process would be considered between May 18 and May 19, with the final list of approved candidates set to be published on May 20.
