Paediatric Centre Construction Underway at KMA Clinic
Kumasi, Ghana – A significant advancement in paediatric healthcare infrastructure is taking shape in Kumasi, with the ongoing construction of a dedicated paediatric centre at the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) Clinic. The project, inspected by Madam Rita Naa Odoley Sowah, the Deputy Minister for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, signifies a commitment to enhancing medical services for the metropolis’s youngest residents.
Madam Sowah’s visit to the project site was part of her official engagements in Kumasi, during which she also paid a courtesy call on Mr. Richard Ofori-Agyeman Boadi, the Mayor of Kumasi. Her assessment of the construction work revealed a high level of satisfaction regarding both the quality of the build and the progress being made. She commended the Assembly’s efforts and urged them to maintain this positive momentum to ensure the project’s punctual completion.
The new paediatric centre is a comprehensive facility designed to significantly improve healthcare delivery. Its construction is being financed by the District Assembly Common Fund (DACF), a testament to the national priority placed on such essential public services.
