As the 2027 general elections draw near, a growing number of support groups from across Nigeria’s six geo-political zones have publicly declared their backing for Dr. Johnson Emmanuel Chukwuka, a former vice-presidential candidate of the Action Alliance and now a member of the Action Democratic Party (ADP). These groups believe that Dr. Chukwuka possesses the leadership qualities necessary to guide Nigeria into a new era of development and stability.

According to Sani Darma, Director General of The Patriots Movement, Dr. Chukwuka is the ideal successor to President Bola Tinubu. He emphasized that Dr. Chukwuka’s career as a medical practitioner and politician has equipped him with the skills needed to lead the nation effectively.

Comrade Mark Adebayo, National Convener of the New Direction for Nigeria Movement, praised Dr. Chukwuka’s approach to politics, which he described as free from ethnic and religious biases. - “I am personally fascinated by his professional background. Being a surgeon, I believe that Nigeria requires a surgical operation to reset the country. This country needs total resetting. For me, the challenges that Nigeria faces now are beyond somebody who says ‘oh I have capacity. I have integrity, I have this’. It is only a visionary leader who can fix this country.
- Nigerians must become deliberate in the way we elect our leaders, but they require a lot of political education to get to that threshold of political understanding.
