Ajakaye has secured victories in all the wards that have been announced so far within his 42-ward constituency as of Saturday afternoon.

In Ilorin East/South, former Works Commissioner Abdulquawiy Olododo is the preferred candidate of party officials and supporters, with reports indicating he received a large number of votes throughout the federal constituency.

Footage from the Federal Constituency captured voters lining up extensively behind the young engineer, who had recently served as the state commissioner for Works.

In Magaji Are II, Olododo received 2012 votes compared to the sitting candidate Yinka Aluko’s 312. In Akanbi V, Olododo secured 5,122 votes against Aluko’s 550, becoming the obvious choice in a vote with 9 candidates.

In the Edu/Moro/Patigi Federal Constituency, former TESCOM Chairman Taoheed Abubakar (known as Car Wash) is also said to be in a strong position.

In Ilorin West and Asa Federal Constituency, current representative Mukhtar Tolani Shagaya is the leading candidate, as he has a significant advantage in numerous polling units in the region, including Adewole, Ajikobi, Alanamu, Afon, and Ogidi, to name a few.

Numerous media accounts from throughout the state suggested that the event remained largely calm and free of violence, with the governing party planning to extend its primary process into the following week.
