The U.S. Africa Command has shared video footage of a joint military action that resulted in the death of high-ranking Islamic State figure Abu-Bilal al-Minuki and several other key ISIS leaders.
On Saturday, May 16, AFRICOM released a statement indicating that the strike took place on May 16, 2026, under the leadership of the U.S. President and the Secretary of War, and in collaboration with the Nigerian government.
