Pakistan, May 17 — Farhan Saeed, a Pakistani singer and actor, has sparked another online discussion following his comments on relationships, men’s conduct, and women’s dignity during a recent TV interview.
The conversation occurred as he was promoting his new film, in which he co-starred with actress Mamya Shah Jaffer. Throughout the discussion, the subject shifted to relationship patterns and trust problems. When Mamya Shah Jaffer stated that many young men ruin relationships with false commitments and lies, Farhan Saeed openly replied that it’s not just a few, but that “most men are liars.” His comment quickly captured attention during the studio session and later went viral online, with clips from the show spreading extensively on social media platforms.
Farhan Saeed also encouraged women to focus on their self-worth, joy, and individuality within any relationship. He mentioned that women should not sacrifice their sense of self or inner tranquility in an effort to maintain a relationship.
He also mentioned that numerous women think they can alter a man’s character through love or selflessness, but in truth, such changes are uncommon. As per his view, women frequently approach situations with the intention of “rescuing” relationships or people, which may eventually result in more emotional damage for them.
Although recognizing that some men may also be impacted by controlling partners, he pointed out that, overall, women usually experience greater emotional harm in relationships.
The comments soon became popular on the internet, with social media users having differing reactions. Some supported his view regarding self-esteem and emotional limits, while others criticized the statement as an excessively wide generalization about men.
