Thailand Proposes Revising Visa-Free Tourist Stays Amid Security Concerns
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Thailand has put forth a proposal to shorten the duration of visa-free stays for tourists, reducing it from the current 60 days to 30 days. This strategic adjustment is primarily driven by concerns for national security, according to Foreign Minister Sihasak Phuangketkeow.
Minister Phuangketkeow stated that this proposed change is not anticipated to negatively impact the country’s robust tourism sector.
