Celebrity chef and restaurateur Guy Fieri has made a strong comeback into the public sphere following his recovery from a significant quadriceps injury. The 58-year-old culinary personality, known for his energetic style and popular Food Network shows, was recently spotted at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, attending the Super Bowl. He was accompanied by his wife, Lori, 54, as they watched the New England Patriots face off against the Seattle Seahawks.
The couple, who are parents to sons Hunter, 29, and Ryder, 20, appeared in good spirits, a welcome sight just three months after Guy underwent surgery. The injury occurred when Fieri fell down a set of stairs while filming an episode of his show, “Flavor Town Food Fight.”
Fieri himself has spoken about his recovery, admitting it was a challenging period. He shared his appreciation for simple mobility after being sidelined. “It was definitely a trying holiday, but you know what, you get some real appreciation for having the ability to just get up and walk around and do everything you used to,” Fieri told People magazine last month.
The inability to engage in his usual active lifestyle, which includes CrossFit and hiking, proved particularly difficult for the chef. “I’m a big CrossFit and hiking guy, so eight weeks of no hiking has driven me kind of crazy,” he revealed. “But I’m looking forward to it, trying to take it easy.”
Doctors had advised Fieri to proceed cautiously with his rehabilitation. “My doctors are all like, ‘We know you want to get after it, but let’s not go back to where we were,'” he recounted. His resolute response was, “We are never going back to that!” Fieri described the injury as “the worst thing I’ve been through in the last 20 years,” underscoring the severity of the ordeal.

Fieri’s Super Bowl weekend was packed with high-profile appearances. On Saturday, he attended the 2026 Fanatics Super Bowl Party at Pier 48 in San Francisco. During the event, he was pictured with Hollywood legend Kevin Costner, highlighting his return to the social circuit.
The Bay Area was a magnet for celebrities throughout the weekend, with luxury suites and sideline seats filled with A-listers eager to witness the championship game.
