According to the report lodged at 4.49pm yesterday, the elderly man claimed he sustained injuries after being subjected to an attack and intimidation by the suspect. The confrontation took place near a traffic light, a common point of congestion and potential friction on the roads.
Initial police assessments suggest that the altercation escalated from a seemingly minor traffic mishap. Assistant Commissioner Naazron Abdul Yusof, the Kajang district police chief, confirmed that preliminary investigations point to a collision between the complainant’s vehicle and that of the suspect as the catalyst for the ensuing violence.
Swift Apprehension and Remand
Responding to the victim’s report, the Kajang police acted swiftly. The suspect was apprehended later on the same day, at approximately 11.30pm, in the Kajang area.
