QF21 had to change course to Tahiti, where the passenger was taken into custody and held in the capital, Papeete.

In a statement provided to the Daily Mail, Qantas verified that the individual is now prohibited from traveling on its planes.

Video of the confrontation, recorded by American comedian and The Hundred withAndy Leestar Mike Goldstein, depicted the man leaving a restroom and mumbling to a visibly frustrated airline employee that he ‘was about to go out for a cigarette’.

The flight attendant told him to “act properly, as there are children around,” after which the upset passenger questioned if he was “using marijuana” while astonished passengers observed.

The traveler was overheard muttering “f*** off, c***” as the crew member tried to guide him back to his seat.

The flight attendant remarked, “If you don’t act appropriately, we may need to secure you. And once secured, you’ll remain so for the entire journey.”

Watch your words… You’re acting like a cheap, worthless timepiece.

A second individual moved forward to physically hold him back and mentioned that he was being escorted to the rear of the aircraft.

The traveler replied: “I was simply relieving myself.”

In Mr. Goldstein’s video, the man was visible lying on his face at the rear of the plane following its arrival in Papeete.

He mentioned that the detour increased the trip by three hours, causing numerous travelers to miss their connecting flights upon arriving in Dallas, Texas, on Saturday morning local time.

In a statement provided to the Daily Mail, a Qantas representative stated: “Ensuring the safety of our passengers and staff is our top concern, and we have no tolerance for any disruptive or intimidating actions during our flights.”

We appreciate our crew and other travelers who helped out during the situation.

The plane was refueled and passengers proceeded with their trip to Dallas, reaching there on Saturday morning.

The traveler received a restriction from Qantas Group planes.
