NFL Stars Attempt to Guess AFL Club Names
In a lighthearted and entertaining video, some of the biggest names from the LA Rams NFL team have taken on the challenge of guessing the names of AFL clubs based solely on their logos. The results were nothing short of hilarious, with several players coming up with wildly incorrect answers.
The video starts with Super Bowl-winning quarterback Matthew Stafford attempting to guess the name of the Gold Coast Suns. After examining the team’s logo, he takes a shot in the dark, saying, “I’m feeling like it’s an S, so we’re gonna say it’s the Surfers.” His answer was clearly off the mark, but it set the tone for what was to come.
Next up was tight end Tyler Higbee, who tried to guess the name of the Fremantle Dockers. His answer? “Anchors.” While it’s clear he was just making a guess, the response was far from accurate.

The fun continued as more players took their turns, with one of the most memorable moments coming from interior defensive lineman Braden Fiske. After looking at the Adelaide Crows’ logo, he confidently claimed the team were called the “Pterodactyls.” This answer was not only incorrect but also completely unexpected, adding to the humor of the situation.
This video was created to promote the Rams’ upcoming clash with the San Francisco 49ers at the MCG in September. The game marks the NFL’s eagerly awaited debut at Australia’s most famous stadium, setting the stage for what is expected to be the most spectacular global edition of America’s sporting behemoth yet.
The event is part of a larger series of matches that will see a record number of games played across seven countries worldwide. This season will feature nine games held at some of sport’s most celebrated venues, showcasing the NFL’s growing international appeal.
“The year’s record-breaking schedule will see a host of world-class NFL franchises and star athletes play in some of the most iconic sporting venues in the world,” said Peter O’Reilly, NFL executive vice-president of club business, major events and international, in a statement.
“This highlights the league’s global growth vision and brings our fans internationally closer to the game than ever before.”
The collaboration between the NFL and Australian sports fans continues to grow, with each event providing new opportunities for fans to experience the excitement of American football on a global scale. As the league expands its reach, it’s clear that the NFL is committed to bringing its unique brand of entertainment to audiences around the world.
